The producers of the famous Angry Birds game were looking for "the next big thing" that will bring them at least as much income as the Angry Birds series and it seems that they found him. Casey's Contraptions is the name of the game that Rovio recently bought and of course it will try to turn it into an extremely popular hit. The toy has a gameplay similar to that of Crazy Machines, that is, you have to build all kinds of scenarios in which to destroy objects using your imagination and what the developers make available to you.
"Working with Noel [Llopis, Snappy Touch founder] and Miguel [A. Friginal, Mystery Coconut founder] has been fantastic, and this is a game that we all fell in love with from the first play," said Heijari.
"The gameplay is a perfect fit in our arsenal with its approachable, fun and highly addictive take on the physics puzzler genre. We are currently reworking the title to enhance it, and getting ready to re-introduce it in a true 'expect the unexpected' Rovio style launch to an even larger audience."
Casey's Contraptions, in Rovio's version, is announced to be a new "hit" on the iOS platform, but don't expect to see it in the App Store too soon because Rovio has just started to restore it.
