This is what the new Maps application will look like, which will be available in iOS 6

A few weeks ago I told you that Apple would release a new Maps application in iOS 6, and in it he would use his own mapping system. Then we only had a rumor, but now those from BGR shows us the first pictures of the new application, and in this article you can find them. The new application will have a slightly modified interface, similar to that of the iPad tablet UI, and will have a new button called Locate Me implemented that will change its position depending on how we use the application.

In the new mapping system, Apple will also implement a 3D module that will show us relief forms and buildings in 3D format directly in the application in a similar way to that offered by Google for Android OS. For now, these seem to be the only news that could be published, but the main problem will be the usefulness of this new Apple system. The maps used by the company will not come from Google but from its own system and it remains to be seen how detailed they will be, especially for Romania. At WWDC 2012, which starts on June 11, we will learn more about the new iOS 6 and the Maps application.
