WiFi2Me checks the security of your Wi-Fi network, it is now available in the App Store

WiFi2Me is an application launched last month in the App Store and it promises to test the security level of almost any type of Wi-Fi network. The application displays information about the networks around us, but we are talking about an application that at the same time scans the routers that support the respective network to see how vulnerable they are to an attack. The application can "guess" the passwords of certain router models, and the basis of the system is a set of algorithms and some dictionaries that theoretically should be able to "crack" the password if it is simple enough.

With WiFi2Me you-can-raised easily check your network security, the application works using Various algorithms to generate the default password of Various types of routers using the information Obtained from your ESSID and BSSID, here's the list of the supported network types. - How is it used? 1) Select your network type based on the SSID (Network Name) 2) Insert the network name (SSID), MAC (BSSID), or Both in some cases Depending on the router.

WiFi2me was initially available in Cydia and then it even allowed attacking Wi-Fi networks to discover the password based on which they are encrypted, but the version in the App Store does not contain these functions. Using the version from the App Store you will only be able to test the security of your network and nothing more, but for €0.79 you can't ask for more. If you want something more complex, then you can try the version available in Cydia, and with its help you could even find out the passwords of some encrypted Wi-Fis.
