Testing the TVR Info Video application today, I noticed that the developers who designed it thought of making fun of those who jailbroken their iDevices, forbidding them to see a live stream of TVR Info. I don't know if the Romanian television contacted the people from Direct One to make the application or if they did it on their own initiative, but the decision to block the access of those with jailbreak seems stupid to me. In a country where extremely many iDevice owners have jailbreak, implementing that option makes no sense, especially since the application is available for free in the App Store. application TVR Info offers access to the video stream, so you can try it if you're ever interested in seeing what your TVR money is spent on.
On this occasion, I thank the people at TVR for forcing me to look for various streams on the Internet to see the match Germany - Portugal. I thank them for selling the television rights of important matches to Dolce and I tell them from now on that I will make the switch from RDS to Dolce when the pigs start flying.
In the same idea of bad decisions, I announce, for those who did not know, the "death" of dolcetv.ro for the iOS platform. If a few months ago those from Dolce, Romtelecom, offered the option to watch Live TV on iDevices, now everything has disappeared, they prefer to install flash players instead of those compatible with iOS. I don't think that the decision will be made to return to the old formula, but on this occasion you can thank everyone from Romtelecom because they are "full" of great ideas.
