I don't know if you caught this information in the live feed published by me last night, but I'm telling you now that every day the Apple servers send a notification to each person on the globe. 7 billion notifications go to some of the 650.000 applications that are available in the App Store and we are talking about an enormous number of notifications sent daily. Those from Apple say that they have sent 1.5 trillion notifications so far, that is 1.500 billion, but if we do a simple calculation, we find out that every month the company sends almost one seventh of the total number sent so far, so by the end of the year Apple will it collects 3 billion notifications sent to all its iDevices.
I don't know how many companies can boast of such figures that show that users and developers know how to use their APIs and find the applications really useful.
