Nokia 808 Pureview is a Nokia smartphone that has a 41 megapixel camera built in, this being the only smartphone with a camera capable of taking pictures at such a high resolution. Many confuse the number of megapixels with the quality of a camera, mistakenly believing that a camera with more megapixels takes better pictures. To test this the from cnet they did a comparative test between the iPhone 4S, HTC One X and Nokia 808 Pureview cameras, and in this article you can see the pictures they took.
Methodology: All photos were shot at 8 megapixels and on default settings, unless otherwise mentioned. For the Nokia 808 PureView, it was set to capture photos at "PureView resolution" and at its highest quality. The Nokia handset's advantage is its "pixel overlay" technology, where seven pixels on its sensor are combined together to form one "super pixel".
