Plan B helps you remember the security code set for an iDevice

Plan B is a tweak released today in Cydia, and with its help you can remember a security code set for your iDevice. More than once I have been asked how to delete the security code set on an iDevice and although this is possible, the procedure is not simple. For people who don't have such a good memory, there is now the Plan B tweak, which has the role of helping you discover the security code set for your iDevice without exploiting the terminal.

Always forget your iPhone passcode? well we have got a Plan B for you! Just install preferenceLoader and then install PlanB and configure you question and answer (one or two). Once you unlock your device with the password PlanB will remember it for you! Well one bright day did you forget your passcode? no problem just answer the questions (1 or 2) you have configured and then you get your passcode back! NO MORE RESTORES!!! A big thank you to Matan Itah for helping in testing this tweak and thinking about this cool name 🙂

The tweak has a settings menu in the iOS Settings application, in that menu you can set two questions and your security code, and when you forget the code you can give an answer to the question set in the tweak menu, and it will display the code. Basically, you now have a failsafe to a security measure set in iOS, but it is important to set a password that you remember for sure, otherwise you risk not being able to find your security code using Plan B. The tweak is available in the repo ModMyi from Cydia.
