Protecti is a new tweak released during this night in Cydia, and through it you can increase the security level of your iDevice. The tweak is activated with a simple gesture and after activation it can block: opening/closing applications, rearranging the Springboard, activating the task switcher, using Spotlight, closing the notification system, opening applications through notifications, displaying certain notifications, viewing photos, activating the Notifications Center, plus much, much more. Practically Protecti represents a combination of several tweaks already available in Cydia and it can be a very good method to keep your iDevice safe from prying eyes.
One gesture, you can protect your information on your iDevice. Your friend or family members want to have a look or play on your iDevice, but you worry about your private messages, chat records, photos, or just your icons arrange. With Protecti, you can disable launch apps from icon, search, multitasking, and even tapping notification, You can disable all kinds of notification styles including alerts, banners, notification center item, lock screen notification and even badge number increase. More awesome, you can customize your notification content. When messages arrive, the notification displays as your settings. You can disable certain content in spotlight search results. Protecti has a settings menu in the Settings application, and there you can activate/deactivate the tweak, you can choose the gesture by which you start the security system and of course you can choose which security measures are imposed upon activation. Protecti only works on iOS 5.x and is available for $3 in the BigBoss repo.
Last of all, you can hide your photos. The photo taken in photo-hidden mode still exists when you come back. This feature is in beta. Please make a backup. With Protecti, you do not need to change Preference to disable sms preview, stop some search contents and so on.
