Here's how you can send web pages from a computer to Google Chrome from iOS

Google Chrome for iOS was launched last week in the App Store and quickly became one of the most popular browsers in the Apple store. The application has been downloaded by several hundred thousand people already and one of its most popular functions brings us the possibility to synchronize tabs from the computer with the browser on the terminal. Although this function is extremely useful for many people, it still exists an even more interesting one which I think you will use much more often. It allows you to send web pages from a computer to a mobile device by simply pressing a button, and in this article I will teach you how to do everything.

First you have to install Google Chrome from the App Store, and then you have to to access this link to install an extension for Google Chrome for Windows/Mac OS X. After installing that extension, log in to your Google account and open Google Chrome in iOS, go to the settings menu where you choose the option Other Devices and log in with the same Google account. After logging in, make sure you have the options set to On Sync si Chrome to Mobile, possibly go to the main options menu again, choose the button Settings and set the option to On Chrome to Mobile and there.

After you have activated that option, go back to the desktop browser, open a web page and look in the address bar, which will show a mobile phone icon on the right side. Click on it and you should have the name of your iDevice displayed there plus the option to send the respective web page to your terminal. You can send just the page link or an archived version of the page that can be read when you don't have an internet connection, the choice is yours. Sending the page to the terminal takes a few seconds, after which the device will automatically load the page and display it.

This is probably the simplest method to send web pages from a computer to an iDevice, but it only works with Google Chrome, but it would be interesting to have it available in Safari as well.

Viteza, interfata, usurinta in utilizare etc. Nu stiu daca e mai sigur…
