Apple talks about Find and Call - the first spam app for iOS

Yesterday I told you that an application called Find and Call entered the list of free applications from the App Store, but unfortunately it seriously affects users' privacy. Those from Kaspersky said that the application steals the users' contact book, uploads it to the developers' servers, and they then send spam SMS messages/emails to various people. Some have wrongly named this application as a Trojan, but this name is forced for an application of this kind, considering that we are not talking about a software specially made in this sense.

The Find & Call app has been removed from the App Store due to its unauthorized use of users' Address Book data, a violation of App Store guidelines.

In order to appease the users, those from Apple they declared that the application was withdrawn from the App Store because it did not comply with its regulations, but it should not have been there. Unfortunately, Apple engineers cannot 100% verify an application to see if it really transfers this data because the applications have access to the contact book anyway and can transfer it, but some developers take advantage of this system to take over, without consent, our data. In conclusion, this application has been withdrawn, but of course there could be others similar, but which have not been discovered.
