The App Store is the largest virtual application store for several years and last night Tim Cook announced that it contains no less than 650.000 applications for iDevices, 50.000 more than a month ago when WWDC 2012 took place. Of these 650.000 applications, 400.000 are available for iPhone/iPod Touch and 250.000 are available exclusively for the iPad tablet, and the several hundred million active iDevices have at their disposal an extremely complex offer to enhance the functions available in the American company's iOS.
The App Store is constantly growing and by the end of the year we will definitely see at least 100.000 - 150.000 applications added to it, and in 2013 Apple will undoubtedly have 1 million titles available in its own store.
