Yesterday those from Cosmote si Romtelecom they launched the application Dolce TV Mobile which allows the subscribers of the two companies to watch 35 TV stations and their favorite shows directly from an iDevice at no cost. When I say that there are no costs, I mean that all the traffic generated by watching these TV stations will not be charged in any way by the operator and will not be deducted from the amount available in your account. In practice, Romtelecom and Cosmote offer you the opportunity to watch free TV on iDevices for a month, after which they will ask you to subscribe to the platform to be able to view everything.
With this Romtelecom and Cosmote application, you can watch your favorite TV shows whenever and wherever you have 3G coverage, without additional data traffic, or where you have access to a Romtelecom Wi-Fi hot spot.
I could say that the step taken now by Cosmote and Romtelecom is a very important one because other operators have launched similar services, compatible only with a connection of their own subscribers, but unlike Cosmote they did not offer free traffic for viewing. Those from Cosmote do not say if the free traffic will be available even after the service becomes a paid one, but if nothing changes from this point of view, then I for one believe that Dolce TV Mobile will certainly be the best option to watch TV on the Internet from an iDevice when you are not at home.
If the operator Cosmote will introduce special subscriptions for TV and Dolce will ask for more money for the streaming service, then the idea becomes as trivial and unsuccessful as the rest of what is currently available on the market, so it would be interesting if the people of Cosmote would benefit from the advantage which they have now and would force the market. Until then, I praise the initiative of Cosmote, I know that it is not to the liking of those who are not Cosmote or Romtelecom subscribers, but maybe the rest of the operators will wake up and do similar things for subscribers who do not pay low prices for connections of mobile internet.
