TacoCopter- the quadricopter that could deliver tacos to San Francisco by air

Americans have wild ideas, everyone knows that, but a company from San Francisco thought of putting quadcopters like Parrot AR Drone 2.0 at work delivering tacos to customers. The company thought of the machine from the images, named TacoCopter, who would have delivered tacos by air to anyone who wanted them, but unfortunately the American federal aviation authority did not allow this. Although many people were extremely interested in the idea, the authorities said that such a machine cannot fly freely through San Francisco, so now the company is keeping everything for a time when the authorities will be more permissive.

We're in a holding pattern until the FAA changes regulations on commercial drones in cities. Even then, there are state and local laws to contend with. Until laws catch up with (delicious) technology, this is a just for fun thing with our friends,” Boyer told us in an email. "We have a vision of the future where all foods, not just tacos, can be delivered via deadly flying robots.

The idea proposed by the Americans is very interesting, probably in other locations it will be put into practice, but for now the US authorities do not want to legalize it.
