HappyFingers is a software suite for Windows that allows you to control certain functions of your iDevice directly from your computer. All you have to do is to install an application in Windows and one in your iPhone, and then you will be able to call contacts directly from the computer, you will be able to send SMS/emails without actually writing the messages on the terminal, plus many more others. To be honest, the function of sending SMS is probably the most interesting because iOS does not offer such functionality in combination with other devices, although terminals such as Nokia have implemented similar systems for years.
The HappyFingers system connects to your iDevice via Wi-Fi and the system's intuitive interface should not give you too many headaches when you want to send an SMS, for example.
