Apple is attacking the Samsung Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note in a process that is currently being resolved

In the US, Apple has opened a lawsuit accusing Samsung, and Google as a subsidiary, of infringing its patents by launching the Galaxy Nexus terminal. This device was withdrawn from sale in the US based on a decision given in a court hearing of this lawsuit, but Google modified its software and now the device is again available for purchase. This process was opened by Apple in February when it said that 17 Samsung terminals infringed its patents, but now the company added two versions of Galaxy S III, a version of Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 10.1, so in total we are talking about 21 (actually 22) terminals.

In this process, Apple claims that Samsung infringed 8 utility patents, 4 of them being judged in the process already won, but 4 of them were granted after the start of this process. The last 4 patents are related to: a data detection system, slide to unlock system, a system for completing written words, si the universal writing system. The first patent was successfully used to remove certain HTC terminals from sale, so there is a good chance that Samsung will have problems again, especially if the infringement is proven for the 4 patents tried, and the res judicata authority works in the USA .

These infringing Samsung products include the at least 21 new smartphones, media players, and tablets that Samsung has released beginning in August 2011 and continuing through August 2012. Specifically, Samsung has imported into, offered for sale, or sold in the United States at least the following products, each of which infringes Apple's patent rights: the Galaxy S III, Galaxy S III – Verizon, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II Skyrocket, Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch, Galaxy S II, Galaxy S II – T-Mobile, Galaxy S II – AT&T, Galaxy Nexus, Illusion, Captivate Glide, Exhibit II 4G, Stratosphere, Transform Ultra, Admire, Conquer 4G, and Dart smartphones, the Galaxy Player 4.0 and Galaxy Player 5.0 media players, and the Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablets.

Although Tim Cook and Larry Page, CEO of Google, discuss aboutthere is a possible licensing of the technologies owned by the two companies, for now Apple is still attacking Samsung, but also the Galaxy Nexus produced for Google.
