We all know that the new Maps application a iOS 6 it leaves us without a lot of the functions that the Google Maps system had, and for many users this causes a postponement of the update to the new version of the operating system. In the image above you have submitted the number of countries that lose information by using the Maps application from iOS 6, and Romania loses information about traffic, information from Google Street View, information about locations, and information about public transport routes or routes that can be traveled as pedestrian.
For each of the things lost through this change, there is at least one app in the App Store that does a job at least as good, and depending on your interest, you can try one of the recommendations below. The StreetView in Google Maps can be replaced with iFindView or StreetView , both titles giving users direct access to the Mountain View company's Google Streetview system. For information about public transport routes or routes that can be taken as a pedestrian, we can use Google website directly from Safari, or we can choose one of the applications from this list. At the end, there is traffic information that you can only retrieve by accessing the mobile version of Google Maps, but to retrieve the function that helps you search for locations in cities, you can use Google+ Local, formerly Google Places.
In the end, what you lose by installing the Maps application you gain from other applications, so it's not all that bad.
