All major operators in Romania will have available 4G frequencies apparently compatible with iPhone 5

Today the mobile phone operators in Romania announced the plans for the launch of 4G LTE networks, we told you that Orange will launch a network this year, Vodafone will launch one in 2013, I don't know what Cosmote will do, but all these operators have bought blocks of spectrum on the 1800 MHz frequency. Why is this frequency important? Well, it is important because it is the only one compatible with iPhone 5 and theoretically the device should work without problems on it, but no operator has confirmed this until now.

RCS & RDS bought only one block on the 900 MHz frequency, I don't know what terminals they will launch for it, but 2K Telecom is not better either, they only bought one block on the 2600 MHz frequency. In practice, the iPhone 5 and future iDevices should work on the future 4G LTE networks in Romania, but we will find out more in the following months.
