Samsung attacks the iPhone 5 in court, succeeds in lifting the ban on the sale of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the USA

Before launch iPhone 5, those from Samsung announced that they will include the device in the processes already opened against the Apple company and this it happened during last night. Those from Samsung do not specify exactly why they think that iPhone 5 infringes their patents, but claims that they filed a new lawsuit in a US court. Until now representatives of Samsung they unofficially stated that iPhone 5 will be attacked because it is believed that it infringes certain patents for 4G technologies and I assume that this is the basis of this lawsuit, but the chances of it being successful are small because Apple buys components from Qualcomm with the license for the technologies used in them.

Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday that it filed a new lawsuit against Apple Inc in a US court, contending that the iPhone 5 infringed on Samsung's patents.

In a statement, Samsung said: "...we have little choice but to take the steps necessary to protect our innovations and intellectual property rights."

In other news, the people from Samsung managed to convince an American judge to raise ban on the sale of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the USA. The judge's decision based on the lawsuit between Samsung and Apple, a lawsuit won by the company with the help of claims that did not support the reasons on the basis of which the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was removed from sale in the USA. Practically, the jury of that trial did not discover any infringement of the iPad patents that would be the basis for removing the Galaxy Tab from sale, so the judge canceled the ban.

The problem for Samsung is that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been proven to infringe other Apple patents, and in December there will be a new hearing in a request made by the company from Cupertino, and then the tablet could be taken out of sale again.
