Camera+ and Twitter have been updated this evening, they bring many new things

This evening, the developers of the Twitter and Camera+ applications released an update for each title, both bringing interesting things. For Camera+ we are talking about the implementation of the low light mode that allows taking better pictures in low light conditions, this feature being available so far only in the Camera application from iPhone 5. The update does not extend the functionality to other terminals, but Camera+ is the first application in the App Store that benefits from the new module implemented by Apple. The rest of the changes are related to solving some bugs in the application and the possibility of uploading high-quality photos to Facebook.

Better photos in low-light
On the iPhone 5 we now support the same low-light sensitivity as the native Camera app — if you're not camera-term inclined this just means you can take photos with less light than ever before. If you are camera-term inclined, your ISO can now go up to 3200 (vs 800 before – that's 4 times MOAR POWER). This will only kick in if it's really dark. [iPhone 5 only]

iOS 6 and general bug fixes
We've addressed the issues some of you were having saving to the Camera Roll in iOS 6. If you deny access to your Photos, we're unable to save to your Camera Roll! We've now made the error message clearer, but unfortunately we can't make the prompt for permission clearer at this time.

In the case of the Twitter application, we are talking about solving some performance problems of the previous version and that's about it. Version 5.0 brought a new interface for the iPad tablet, but also some new functions for users, but version 5.0.3, available now, focuses only on bug fixes and nothing more.

  • Fixes a bug where users were not able to view their protected tweets in conversations.
  • Fixes an issue where users could not load their profile info after changing their username.
  • Accessibility improvements.
  • Fixes for other crashes and bugs.
