Microsoft Office for iOS will be available in March 2013

This year it was rumored that Microsoft would launch an iOS version of the Microsoft Office suite, the launch was theoretically planned for the fall of this year, but it seems that we will only see these applications in the App Store in March 2013. Information is coming from a conference in which a Microsoft product manager officially announced that the application will be available for mobile terminals in Q1 2013, more precisely in March. Those from Microsoft also published a press release in Czech, they say exactly the same information, so we now have official confirmation that the suite will arrive in the App Store next year.

The biggest news today is the official announcement preparing Office 2013 for Android and iOS in the form of native applications. This information at a press conference published by Petr Bobek, product manager of Microsoft Office. Office 2013 will be launched in the first quarter of 2013, Microsoft will then gradually publish versions for other platforms.

For now, no one knows for sure what functionality these applications will offer for iDevices, but we will probably have the opportunity to edit and create documents from the terminals in an intuitive and simple way. With these applications, the possibility to save documents in the Microsoft cloud system will also be available, now all that remains is to have the applications.
