Sparrow+ update is available in Cydia, solves some problems, brings improvements for the Push notification system

Sparrow is undoubtedly one of the best mail applications for iOS, but its big problem lies in the fact that it does not natively send push notifications to users. Its developers intended to implement a push notification system in the application, but after they were acquired by Google, everything was forgotten and users who bought the application were left without that system if they did not have a jailbreak. If they have jailbreak, then a tweak called Sparrow+ turns the Sparrow application into the native application for sending emails, but also implements push notifications. Basically, Sparrow+ allows you to open the Sparrow application every time another application asks you to send someone an email, but this does not apply to native iOS applications that also refer to the Mail application.

Sparrow Push is not needed anymore for enabling push notifications, Sparrow+ does everything on its own and enables banners too. Enables Sparrow to run on the iPad in full screen mode (still buggy and have glitches). Sparrow+ doesn't need to be updated for each new Sparrow version from now on, this version will work on all future updates. Fixed a memory leak. You can set a timer for when notifications will be pushed or you can just choose to push them instantly.

Sparrow+ has been available in Cydia for some time, and last night it was updated to send push notifications without requiring the installation of the Sparrow Push tweak. Notifications can be scheduled or sent as soon as a new email is received in your account, the application having a settings menu where you can choose how it works. Sparrow+ makes the Sparrow application somewhat native with the iPad tablet, allowing it to run in full screen, but the developer claims that some bugs still exist. Sparrow+ is available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repo.
