Sunday Dev Team released redsn0w 0.9.15 beta 1 along with one of the biggest updates ever available for this program. Thanks to this update, now we can update to iOS 6 without updating the baseband some iPhones, we can jailbreak and hack some iPhones with iOS 6 installed we can restore to iOS 5.x and downgrade from iOS 6 for certain iDevices. That version of redsn0w had some functionality issues, Dev Team only solved some of them, but not 2601 error which appears in the case of those who try to use the function of preserving the baseband during a restore made through Windows OS.

Update #1 (Oct 15): Version 0.9.15b2 fixes a few issues for 3GS owners: old-bootrom awesomeness is no longer forgotten directly after a restore, and iPad baseband upgrade/downgrade support is fixed (same production date cutoffs apply!). If your 3GS is currently tethered at 6.0 even though you have an old bootrom, just re-run redsn0w's Jailbreak step (no need to restore). Don't forget you can add some pizzaz with your own boot logo or a nerdy verbose boot.
Practically, the Dev Team solved the bugs that prevented the owners of iPhone 3GS terminals with old bootrom from doing untethered jailbreak, the problems with the upgrade/downgrade of the baseband 06.15.00 of the iPad were solved (keeping the compatibility limits) and that's about it. If you have an iPhone 3GS with an old bootrom and you don't have untethered jailbreak on iOS 6, then you just have to jailbreak again. You can download redsn0w 0.9.15 beta 2 available here.

Zaone: I re-jailbroken, I did NOT put Installous on it... everything went normally, I gave it Just Boot... it turned on and everything worked for me. But... if I turn off the phone and turn it back on, the same problem. I have to enter redsn0w again, give it Just Boot again so I can use it.... My question is… if I run out of battery on my phone, will I do this thing all the time?..or what could I do in this case?….

@adi it did the same to me the first time... then I reinstalled installous, appsync for 5.0+ and it did the same, but after about an hour I was going to download applications... in vain it told me when to install the respective application it said "invalid package" and I uninstalled it :(((
