Weird But True is the free application of the week offered by Apple

  Every week Apple offers a free application from the App Store for all its users, and this week Weird But True is the title offered by the American company. The application was developed by those from National Geographic and it contains all kinds of more or less interesting information about the world that surrounds us. The application was awarded last year for its informative content, it was chosen based on its popularity and probably some of you will find it interesting.

Recently updated with wild and wacky sound effects for all 300 facts, new Weird-O-Meter sounds, and other surprises. Hear the pronunciation of the official name of Bangkok, Thailand–it is 167 letters long! Plus, now you can share facts with friends and family via Facebook and Twitter with the touch of a finger.
