Camera Tweak is a tweak presented by me a few weeks ago when I was telling you that through it you can improve the native iOS Camera application by implementing several extremely useful functions. The tweak was warmly received by users, and its developer thought of updating it by solving some problems and implementing some new functions. Below are listed all the new features that you will find in version 0.20 of CameraTweak:
- Setup is kept in during session, meaning, when you 'minimize' the Camera app and 'maximize' it again, the same chosen setup is given back to you. (includes: Advanced Photo mode selection, TimeLapse time and sec/min indicator, Timer time, Overlay selection and selected or not, Advanced Video mode selection, Frame rate setting, Resolution selection and selected or not and Guide selection and selected or not)
- For iPhone 4S and higher or iPod 5 and higher, there is a Settings panel added where you can choose to save the settings as well. This is not available for other iDevices due to the fact that it would slow down the camera a little bit too much.
- Small optimizations to get the tweak running smoother
Camera Tweak is still available for $0.99 in Cydia's BigBoss repo.
