Recently the Apple company sent to a select number of people invited to test OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3, the next version of the operating system for Macs. These invitations indicate that a first beta version of OS X 10.8.3 will be available in the near future for application developers, but no one knows yet when this new version of the operating system for Macs will be publicly released.
In general, Apple tests beta versions of OS X for several months, so we can expect that in December we will have OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3 in Software Update.
