At the presentation conference a iPad Mini, Tim Cook stated that more than 700.000 applications are now available in the App Store, but in reality almost 1 million have been published so far in the virtual store. Those from 148apphave an interesting statistic and claim that 983,445 applications have so far been published in the App Store, 263,993 of them being withdrawn by developers or by Apple. 719,452 applications would now be available to us and the number is high.
If Apple had left all the published applications in the App Store, then now we would have almost 1 million titles in the company's store, but probably by next year this figure will be reached. The App Store is the largest virtual application store on the globe, but unfortunately a very large part of the titles are completely useless or steal users' money, but the same thing happens in all stores.
