Lock Launcher is a tweak released during this night in Cydia, and with its help we can reuse the Lock button of our iDevices. The tweak has a settings menu in the Settings application of iOS, and there we can completely disable the functionality of the button, we can use it to do a respring/enter Safe Mode, or we can use it to open one of the applications listed in that menu. To take an action using the lock button, we have to hold it down for a few seconds, as if we wanted to close the iDevice.
Launch Applications using your Lock Button. This needs to be done as if you are "Rebooting your Device". Hold the Lock Button for some time and it will launch the Application you have selected via Settings.
Lock Launcher is available for free in Cydia's ModMyi repo, but using it you will lose the functionality that allows you to lock your iDevice.
