During the last night, the important services of iCloud were unavailable for a good part of the users for almost two hours. iCloud Documents, Photo Stream, Backup & Restore plus the system through which additional space is purchased in iCloud were unavailable last night. If you tried to upload documents or photos to iCloud or tried to make a backup, then there is a good chance that nothing worked and it would be ideal to repeat the process today.
Apple does not say exactly how many users were affected, but we are talking about almost 2 million terminals.
