Google will update the YouTube application for iOS, will make it compatible with iPhone 5, will launch a version for iPad

For iOS 6, Google has launched a new YouTube application that offers more functionality than the native one that Apple chose to withdraw from its operating system. Unfortunately, the new YouTube application is not compatible with the terminal iPhone 5 and its 4-inch screen, but those from Google I say that the problem will be solved soon. The update of the application will include not only compatibility with iPhone 5, but also a version that works on iPad tablets, something that Google has promised for a long time, but will offer only now.

Fortunately, YouTube has told The Times that an updated version of the iPhone and iPod Touch app is on its way and will be optimized for the larger screen size. The Google-owned video service did not specify a time frame for the app update, but YouTube assured us it is coming, as is a previously announced app built specifically for the iPad.

Those from Google did not specify a possible date when they would launch the new version of the application, but we can expect it to be available in the following weeks.
