Samsung denies the increase in the production price of processors for iDevices

A few days ago I told you that Samsung would have increased the price of processors for iDevices by 20% which he sells to Apple, the information appearing in the form of a rumor. This rumor was disproved by an anonymous member of the Samsung management who would have declared to a Korean newspaper that the prices have remained unchanged at the moment. He claims that the prices are set at the beginning of the year by the companies and that they cannot be changed that easily based on the contractual agreement.

After reports earlier in the week that the South Korean technology giant was raising application processor (AP) prices on Apple by as much as 20%, a Samsung Electronics official denied the reports to The Hankyoreh, a Seoul-based newspaper. The unnamed official noted that prices are set at the beginning of the year and aren't changed easily.

Even if Samsung has not increased the price of processors for iDevices, this does not mean that this solution was not taken into account within the company. In general, rumors of this kind have a "core" of truth and there is a possibility that the said increase will be applied only at the beginning of next year.
