VLC for iOS is an application appreciated by extremely many users, but unfortunately it was pulled from the App Store a year ago and this after a short period of availability. Then the developers of VLC and Apple did not agree on the terms of distribution of the application and the GPL license, but now the developers of the application they replaced The GPL with LGPL 2.1 and the application could be available again in the App Store. Although those from VLC have not confirmed/denied this, there are practically no reasons on the basis of which the application should not be sent again.
VLC was one of the best multimedia players for iOS, it being able to run almost any video format on our iDevices and its reintroduction in the App Store would certainly please a lot of people.
