The Drowning is a new FPS developed by some of the people who worked on games like Far Cry, Battlefield or Halo, and their project it is meant to be to revolutionize the way FPS games are played on touchscreens. Graphically, the game looks very good, but the revolution will come on the control side. The developers thought of giving up the famous buttons with the help of which the movements and actions are controlled, and to replace them with other gestures that in theory should improve the gaming experience.

The Drowning was created by incredible developers who worked on the best-selling shooter games, Halo, Battlefield & Far Cry. No more virtual sticks! Simply tap where you want to shoot, tap where you want to walk, swipe to look and pinch to zoom. Scavenge the world for parts & craft them into powerful weapons. Upgrade them as you play to create your own unique gun collection.

You will shoot the weapons using two fingers, and the projectiles will be sent in the space between the presses of the screen, you will use swipes to move the characters on the maps and with pinches you will activate the scope of a weapon. In the game you will be able to build your own weapons and you will be able to improve them using various objects available in the maps, and if these novelties did not convince you, then maybe it would be better to forget the game. The Drowning it is announced to be an extremely interesting title, it is not known when it will arrive in the App Store, but I for one am waiting for it with great interest.
