ClearSwitcher was launched last night in Cydia, and with its help you can quickly close all iOS applications that are not running in the background. In iOS, only the applications that download something or play multimedia content run in the background, the rest of the applications being suspended and displayed in the task switcher as recently opened applications. ClearSwitcher will quickly close all those that are not running in the background and leave the others active so as not to interrupt their functionality.
This Tweak will Clear Recently launched Apps from the Switcher meaning that only Apps running in the background will be visible whereas the rest will get cleared from the App Switcher.
ClearSwitcher is available in Cydia's ModMyi repo, but it only works on iOS 5.
