The figures are presented by those from Flurry, a company that analyzes hundreds of thousands of applications from the App Store/Google Play and based on them makes estimates regarding the number of activated terminals and the number of daily downloads. In terms of daily downloads, 1.76 billion applications were downloaded every day between December 25 and 31, the figure being 65% higher than that of a normal day in December.
Over the holiday week, Flurry estimates that over 50 million iOS and Android devices were activated, and 1.76 billion applications were downloaded.
