Safari was the most used browser for mobile terminals in 2012

Safari is the operating system's native browser iOS, in it all the links accessed from various native/third-party applications are opened, and this gave Apple supremacy on the browser market for mobile terminals. According to those from Net Market Watch, Safari was used by 60.56% of the mobile terminals that browsed the web in 2012, followed by the native browser of Android OS that had a market share of 22.1%, in 3rd place being Opera Mini with 10.71%.

Practically almost two-thirds of the mobile terminals that surf the web are iDevices, only a little over 20% are Android terminals, the figures for Opera Mini could be divided for several platforms, and the percentages recorded by other browsers are too small to be taken into account. Apple managed to convince iDevice owners to use the mobile internet wherever they are, last year they were at the top, it remains to be seen how the situation will be this year.
