HAPIfork is probably the first smart fork, and probably the only one in the frame CES 2013, she connecting to the iPhone and helping you to eat smart. The fork connects via Bluetooth to iPhone and it is equipped with a vibrating motor, plus a capacitive sensor, with the help of these two components the application for iOS interprets every bite taken by you. The application analyzes the way you eat and activates the vibrating motor when you eat too quickly, to tell you that you should not rush, helping you eat less today and possibly lose weight.

The application also measures the time spent eating, at the end telling you if your eating style is appropriate or not. HAPIfork it will soon be available on the market at the price of $100, but it is hard to believe that there will be people who will actually lose weight using it.
