CES 2013: Toshiba presents probably the smartest smartwatch

The year 2013 could be the year of smartwatches, with many important manufacturers presenting or preparing to present such devices. In this game also those from Toshiba, which at CES 2013 they presented un SmartWatch interesting, able to connect to iDevices and Android terminals. The smartwatch is able to show you notifications for calls, text messages, emails, or calendar entries on the OLED display, but you will also see news from the news reader, weather information, or even GPS directions.

The device takes the date and time information from the smartphone, and the interesting part is that Toshiba will launch a store where it will sell users various options that can be customized with the help of a special application. The smart watch uses an ARM processor to run everything and is equipped with a series of sensors that optimize the brightness of the screen depending on the ambient light and the angle from which it is viewed, and a sensor at the base synchronizes with the pulse of the owner, the device being automatically blocked when used by another person.

To be honest, I don't like the design of the smartwatch at all, but I have to admit that this is one of the smartest watches of its kind. Unfortunately, it is not known when it would reach the market or how much it will cost, but Toshiba has a great product at CES 2013.
