Apple releases MacBook Air EFI Firmware Update 2.6

Last night, Apple released MacBook Air EFI Firmware Update 2.6 for all MacBook Airs released last summer. The purpose of the update is to solve a problem with displaying colors when an external display is connected to Macs via HDMI, solve a problem that prevents booting in Windows through Bootcamp, and finally a problem with Thunderbolt which generates sudden crashes of the Mac.

Only the MacBook Airs released in 2012 have these problems, the old models not being affected. You can install the update through the software update system, or by downloading the installation package available here.
