The iPhone Mini could remain just a hopeless rumor

Yesterday I told you that an interview given by a Shanghai publication to Phil Schiller seemed to deny the possible launch of an iPhone Mini by Apple. In that interview, Apple's CMO would have indirectly declared that the iPhone Mini is not part of Apple's strategy, and many important publications around the world picked up the news. Today the people from Reuters they withdrew, without explanation, the news about the interview done in China and this seems to indicate that that interview either did not exist, or the information reported there is not real.

Those from Reuters have a close relationship with the PR team of the Apple company and there are probably journalists who are friends with members of the management team, so their reaction seems to suggest the idea that everything is untrue. Of course, this is not a clear sign that the iPhone Mini will ever reach the market, but for now Apple does not want to give any indication in this regard.
