iOS is far from perfect, it has some shortcomings, more or less important, which are quite annoying when they are encountered. The impossibility to save the contacts from the terminal to the SIM card or to export them completely via email is one of these shortcomings and many users have complained about the inability of Apple to implement natively in iOS a system that exists on other phones years. Although Apple, probably for reasons related to intellectual property, cannot implement such a system, applications such as Backup Contacts quickly perform the same functionality.
Backup Contacts is the easiest way to backup and restore your contacts all from your phone without needing a computer or synchronization. You can backup all your contacts with a single touch and send yourself as a .vcf attachment via email. All contacts can then easily be restored at any time by simply opening the .vcf file in your mailbox.
The application saves the contacts from our terminals and sends them by email in .vcf format, we can use it to transfer them to another iDevice, or possibly to another phone using a dedicated utility. Although through iCloud we can transfer contacts between iDevices, unfortunately we cannot download them all, they remain available only in terminals and in iCloud, applications such as Backup Contacts do this without problems.
