Apple is removing the 500px application from the App Store because nude pictures appear in certain searches made in the application

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), was always extremely "concerned" about the appearance of pornographic material in App Store, quickly removed any apps that displayed it, with Steve Jobs stating at one point that everyone who wants pornographic material on their smartphones should use the Android OS. Under the pretext of protecting the App Store from displaying pornographic content, Apple decided to withdraw the 500px application, stating that nude pictures can appear in the searches made through the application at any time.

The apps were pulled from the App Store this morning around 1 AM Eastern, and had completely disappeared by noon today. The move came shortly after last night's discussions with Apple related to an updated version of 500px for iOS, which was in the hands of an App Store reviewer.

Although the application has a system that does not allow the display of nude pictures without the users deactivating a protection filter from the desktop version of the website, and the company explained to Apple that its pictures are not pornographic, but more artistic in nature, no one not listened to. In this idea, the application was withdrawn, but the developers of the 500px application claim that they will make the necessary changes for the application to be published again by Apple in its store.

500px was available in the App Store for more than 1 year, it was downloaded by more than 1 million people, and it will reach iDevices again, and Apple's overzealousness will be quickly given forgetting.
