Untethered jailbreakFor the iOS 6.1 it will most likely be released at the end of this week, but the hackers' software would be compatible including with iOS 6.0, iOS 6.0.1, iOS 6.0.2 si iOS 6.1. Although last year the solutions of jailbreak for iOS 5 they only worked with exact versions of the operating system, this year the hackers' exploits seem to have been preserved throughout the updates made by Apple to its operating system. Consequently, it will not matter what version of iOS you have, it will be able to be jailbroken with the jailbreak solution, the only problem may appear if you did an OTA Update to it, but there are no details about this for now.
At the moment you can only restore to iOS 6.1 using iTunes, so don't think that you can install anything else, because Apple has blocked the possibility of saving SHSHs for other versions of iOS.
What does OTA mean?
Over The Air (wireless)
over the air
Yes. What exactly does OTA mean?????
Will it be compatible with an iPad 3 16 gb wifi? I mean 6.0.1
@razvan that means update directly from the phone, not assisted by itunes.
Yuhuuu :))...how good that there will be untethered jailbreak for 6.0.1...has anyone updated to 6.1?? How do you think??

OTA or Over The Air means updating without connecting the USB cable to the computer and updating with ITunes. That is, if you updated directly from your idevice, you must restore in iTunes.
more precisely OTA (OVER THE AIR) what does this do??? how do you update this??? I don't even want this, but I know not to do it ;))
@marius I updated the iPad3 and it seems ok with WiFi, I haven't had any problems so far, so I don't see any difference in this sense, but the battery seems to last a little longer, the rest is exactly like 6.01
the battery lasts longer on 6.1 and wifi no longer shuts down by itself.
Thanks Andrey...I have an ipod touch 4g with iOS 6.0.1 and I was thinking of doing an update to 6.1, I'm still thinking to see what people will say about it..:D
how good that we all have iphones and we don't even know what OTA update means... and we also want to jailbreak, certainly for games and other pirated applications...
Yes, beautiful!!
Yes, Siri, which you use with cydia, what do you think, does anyone have it??
I updated to iOS6.1 from iOS6.0 on iPod toych 5th gen and I don't have any problem but it didn't bring anything new either. Otherwise it moves as before.
@Iulian
Not all of us do jb to install pirated applications or games! Personally, I don't really have anything to take from the appstore, considering that applications that allow you to customize the iphone are not accepted. That's why I need jb that allows me to I customize the IP exactly as I like, without restrictions!
I had Siriport on 6.0.1 and it is as fast as on 4s or iPad 3, but I always found the iPhone in safe mode, once every 5,6 hours. By the way @ zaone, when the jailbreak will appear, I will be able to downgrade to iPad 3, put 5.1.1 on it, I have shsh saved.
What version of baseband does 6.1 bring? Will it affect my jailbreak?
I hope that it will be possible to do the work with strings on iOS 6.1 as well....
I have an iphone 4 brought from the USA, it's decoded, it doesn't have JB.... Can I update to 6.1 without consequences? Thank you
I have an iPhone 5 with OS 6.0.1. Does anyone know if an update to OS 6.0.2 or 6.1 makes the battery last longer?
Thank you!
I don't know about you, but 6.1 brings a super battery (at least for 4S). Concrete!
is it worth the update from 5.1.1 to 6.1 on an iphone 4? are the tweaks updated and working correctly on 6.1? is it fluent I want to put the backup from 5.1.1 on 6.1 after doing jb, is there any major incompatibility or cv of the kind?
Will there be an unlocking solution for the iPhone 4 with a new baseband... what will the new baseband be like?
I installed it, Safari and email don't work, they close after 2-3 seconds!:( the jailbreak didn't work either, I couldn't jailbreak with redsnow (tetheread)
Alex, I believe you won't be able to use the backup even on 6.l0 from le 5.1.1 so that it won't appear in your incloud anymore or if it appears it will say that you have too old and incompatible software, so listen to someone who does aslalom itre 5.1.1 .601 and 6.0 whenever and above 5.1,1 I have a separate bakeup when I want to go down to 50, 4 I have another so... but if you are not picky about Maps it is worth it that you have a lot about 6.1% battery on iphone XNUMX since with this XNUMX and it was on the beta, but now on the official one
when you say a problem, say what iPhone model you have because that problem is not valid on all models and you risk panicking others for nothing
I have an iPhone 5.. it has ios 6.0.2 and is decoded with r-sim.. if I update it to ios 6.1 will the gevey work?
@Toxxxyk why are you complicating your life like this, the jb appears in a few days and you do tethered jb on the iPhone. In order for cydia to work you have to do tethered boot, before that you have to select the ipsw for iOS 6.0 to use his ramdisk, but you will have many problems and errors with this jb, anyway, good luck.
well, it's simple, it means that not all exploits in ios 6 have been solved by Apple
Florine brings a super battery compared to what? With 5.xx or earlier versions of 6?
