LivePapers allows you to display animated wallpapers on your iDevice screen

live papers is a tweak launched last night in Cydia, and it gives us the opportunity to implement in iOS the animated wallpapers that were introduced a few years ago in mobile terminals, but were popularized by Android OS. So far they have been launched in Cydia some tweaks that brought such functionality, but they consumed a lot of resources and seriously affected the autonomy of the battery. The developer of LivePapers claims that his tweak works in a different way that does not affect the performance of terminals, he uses OpenGL ES to animate the wallpapers.

Compatible with iOS 5.1 to 6.1. Porkholt Labs! brings a new and innovative way of customizing your iOS wallpaper. LivePapers brings fully customizable wallpapers in a powerful and battery efficient app. Using OpenGL ES, it provides smooth animations and increased performance on a level never before seen on any iOS device. LivePaper settings icon will be available on your home screen.

Also unlike other iOS tweaks, live papers allows us to customize our wallpaper animations with the help of a settings menu implemented in Tweak. In our base, we can modify almost all aspects of the running animation, that is, the objects that are displayed on the screen, their number, their size, the depth, the duration of time for which they are displayed and many others. The animated wallpapers are displayed both in the LockScreen and in the Springbaord and are automatically activated when they are generated and the location where we want to see them is selected.

LivePapers is announced to be an extremely interesting tweak, and you can download it for free from Cydia's BigBoss repo. The problem with this tweak is that although you can install it for free, some interesting wallpapers have to be purchased.
