iOS 7 – the moment of change

iOS 7 is the next major version of the operating system iOS, and now, more than ever, the world expects major changes from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, especially that Jony Ive took over the leadership of the team who develops the operating system. At a time when Apple's competitors are implementing new and diverse functions in AndroidOS, iOS is stagnating, it remains a stable operating system, with its benefits, but it still needs a change, it needs some functions to have that effect "Wow".

I think that this year, as happened 2 years ago when iOS 5 was launched, Apple will implement important news in iOS, but don't think that the interface will be changed in any way. I think that under Jony Ive's leadership, the design will be improved, it will be slightly modified, but I don't foresee any major changes to it or the native applications. I think that Apple has once again reached the point where it is forced to implement major changes in iOS, especially since iOS 6 did not bring many important things, and people blamed the company for this.

Although most of those who buy Apple products and understand the company's philosophy are not necessarily enthusiastic about functions such as controlling a browser through gestures, the implementation of things like this is necessary. Apple has the talent to make such useful and functional functions, Apple needs something similar in iOS and I think that the year 2013 will bring us many interesting things, but the problem could be that some of these functions will be useless in Romania .

If I am to speculate about possible news from iOS 7, then I think Siri will have some new functions and will probably work offline to control certain functions, I think Apple will implement some new widgets, I think we will have a fingerprint reader or an NFC payment system, I think that Apple will implement new functions for recording photos or editing them, I think that Apple Maps will have new functions and we will most likely find out about the rest in the summer.
