Call bliss is an application presented by me a few months ago, when I told you that it is the closest alternative to a real blacklist, but here we are talking about applications available in App Store, not about tips or applications from Cydia. If the functionality from then didn't convince you to buy it, then maybe today's update will, because its developers thought to implement the possibility to block calls from certain contacts and to completely block calls from numbers unknowns using the function Blacklist Mode.
Version 1.1 streamlines Call Bliss' interface making it easier and faster to use, with new features such as:
- Map View – View and create Places using an integrated Map.
- "Blacklist mode" - Use Blacklist mode to suppress select callers (along with all unknown callers), while still allowing everyone else in your address book to reach you.
- Contact Picker Search Box – Now it's easy to find callers within hundreds or thousands of contacts.
- Place & Conflict Notifications – Get notifications whenever your allowed callers are updated.
Call bliss it is not an application blacklist in the true sense of the word, she using the function Do Not Disturb to perform all these functions in iOS, but so far users seem to be happy with it. Today's update also includes the option to view the locations you have set for blacklist-s, a box where you can choose the contacts you want to block, and at the end you have notifications for the changes made in the blacklist. Call bliss it is not cheap, but there is no other application close to a blacklist in the App Store, of course if we do not include the thousands of bugs.
