Orange Romania, the largest mobile operator on the local market, received on March 11, the license to be able to rebroadcast TV stations through its own mobile network. Orange Romania now practically has the possibility to join the companies that offer TV services on the local market, but Orange can retransmit TV stations only through a mobile data network and it seems that the operator could offer TV services via satellite, DTH, but for now everything is pure speculation.
In April, the new TV services of Orange should be launched, the parent company already having similar products in other European countries. In France, for example, Orange has been offering TV services for some time, and Romania could join the other countries and of course the entry of a new TV operator on the market is auspicious, because we are talking about new offers, better prices and probably stations something more interesting. For now, Orange has not said anything about their plans regarding the launch of TV services, but I assume that they will do it soon and maybe they will announce the expansion of the TV offer for mobile terminals.

Making the notification gives the applicant the right to provide the networks or services for which he was authorized, but not the obligation to provide them.
