Launch of iPhone 5S, iPad Mini 2 and cheap iPhone could be delayed due to production problems

Although all the rumors published so far clearly suggest that iPhone 5S is to be launched in the summer together with a Cheap iPhone, An analyst says that the release of these products may be delayed due to production issues. Implementation of a fingerprint reader in iPhone 5S, the implementation of a Retina Display in iPad Mini 2 and the coloring/treatment of the carbon fiber shell for iPhoneCPC cheap would generate production problems for the Apple company, these problems delaying the launch of the respective products by several months.

Earlier we estimated that shipments of the new iPhone would begin in July (FDD version) and September (TDD version), while iPad mini 2 would hit the market in August. Currently, market consensus for shipments of iPhone 5S, low-cost iPhone and iPad mini 2 is July, July, and August, respectively. But in light of publicly available information and our knowledge of technological trends, we now think all three products will begin shipments later than our previous expectation and market consensus.

Presenting 3 possible scenarios for the launch of the 3 products, the analyst claims that September would be the closest in which iPhone 5S could reach the market, that is exactly one year after the launch iPhone 5. The launches could extend until November, that is exactly like last year when Apple left more than a month between product launches, this not having any impact on sales. If you're wondering what's holding the launches in place, well, here are the details: finding a suitable color to cover the fingerprint reader without interfering with the sensor and implementing the functionality in iOS 7; finding a suitable combination for coloring and treating the cheap iPhone case; finding a high yield production process for iPad Mini 2 Retina Displays.

Fingerprint sensor for iPhone 5S. Work on finding the right color coatings in order to prevent interference with the sensor offers a technical challenge for Apple, and software integration in iOS 7 will also require additional work.

Color coatings for lower-cost iPhone. Apple's lower-cost iPhone has been rumored to be arriving with a plastic shell in a number of different colors, and Apple's efforts to keep the shell as thin as possible will likely lead to production ramping issues for coatings and surface treatments.

iPad mini Retina display. Kuo expects the second-generation iPad mini to adopt a Retina display, and technical challenges related to its design and manufacture are likely to slow Apple's release timetable.

No matter what Apple chooses to do, until now we have only had rumors regarding the launches and nothing certain, so any decision cannot be complained about.
