Tickets for WWDC 2013 were sold in just two minutes

This evening the Apple company put the tickets for sale on sale WWDC 2013, several thousand developers hurrying to buy a place at the conferences that Apple employees are going to hold in San Francisco. Considering that Apple announced yesterday that the tickets will go on sale starting today, they were all sold out in just two minutes from the opening of orders. In past years, it took 12 and 2 hours, respectively, to sell all the tickets, and that's because the developers found out late about their sale and the events weren't really that important.

If we are to make a comparison with Google I/O, Google's most important annual conference, where tickets sold out within 49 minutes of going on sale.
