The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with almost 50% of the storage space already occupied

Samsung Galaxy S4 it is without question one of the "hottest" smartphones Android of the moment and its popularity also reveals some not very nice information. It seems that 45% of the storage space of the terminal, i.e. 7 GB if we are talking about the cheapest version, is busy by the operating system, the remaining 9 GB being available to the user. Practically, a model with 16 GB of storage space does not leave that much space for the user who wants to take pictures, record movies, install applications or copy music to the terminal. Of course, there is the option to buy a micro SD card separately, but that means another money spent and the speed of accessing the information on these cards is clearly lower than that available for a flash storage space.

The situation reminds me of last year when Microsoft has been criticized for the fact that the Surface RT tablets have several tens of GB of storage space occupied by the operating system and a series of native applications. If Samsung Galaxy S4 we are talking about the Android OS, about the functions implemented by Samsung in it, about what the mobile phone operators introduce in iOS, and in the end a lot of space is taken up pointlessly. I don't know how many people will be dissatisfied because they get less than they hoped for, but unfortunately the producers are starting to lie to us more and more often.
