Orange TV – Orange Romania enters the market of satellite TV service providers and beyond

A few months ago I told you that Orange Romania intends to become a DTH television operator, and today we have a new confirmation of the operator's intentions. Those from Hotnews claim that at the moment, Orange Romania is waiting for the CNA's approval to launch the service Orange-TV through which you will be able to retransmit 100 TV stations through the DTH and OTT systems. The DTH system allows the retransmission of satellite TV stations to residents, and the OTT system allows the offering of LIVE TV on mobile terminals via the Internet, so we will more than likely have such a service attached to subscriptions.

Next week, Orange is waiting for CNA's approval for the retransmission of over 100 satellite TV programs/The operator is counting on at least 50.000 subscribers. The name of the network is Orange TV, and the characteristics of the network are: DTH (on satellite) and OTT (on Over The Top - consumers can receive TV channels through terminals connected to the Internet).

Orange hopes to be able to convince 50.000 customers to subscribe to its new services, but if everything will be available on mobile terminals, then the number of users will definitely increase. After receiving the retransmission licenses, those from Orange will probably make everything official and we will find out all the details Orange-TV.
